•Assignments allow you to put the assessment details onto Moodle. You can set the submission date to indicate the hand-in date (and this is automatically put into the Moodle course calendar).
•You can choose whether students can submit their electronically or whether you want a paper-based version handed in. You can also put the assignment details of practical assessments.
•The teacher adds the grades for each learner to the assignment once it is completed and both the teacher and student can view all the assignment marks in one place.Comments can also be given to the students.
